SANKALP (An All-India Organization for Integrated Participatory Development), is a national, nodal, multi-sectoral, registered and non-profit development agency in India.

SANKALP’S mission is to work towards people-centred, inclusive, equitable and sustainable development in the era of globalisation.
Objective
The broad objective of the Organization is to strengthen the development strategies, policies, and programmes; with a special focus on the excluded groups or geographical regions.
Strategies
SANKALP has been adopting holistic, comprehensive, multifarious, inter-disciplinary, cross-cutting, inter-sectoral, trans-institutional, co-ordinated and sustainable strategies as per the international & national developmental goals and norms to improve the outreach and impact of its activities as well as to produce synergies in its programmatic and policy interventions.
The international and national instruments, standards, policies and practices serve as guiding principles of SANKALP’S activities.
The Organization has been implementing appropriate innovations, effective interventions and best practices to optimize its development efforts to cover the socially excluded and economically deprived groups of populations as well as the geographical marginalized areas.
SANKALP has been integrating national, regional and local conditions, aspirations and needs in its programmes and policies. The Organization has been promoting the active participation of the target groups, communities, grass-roots level agencies, civil society, local self-government (Panchayati Raj Institutions and civic bodies) representatives and the governmental agencies in the design, implementation and monitoring of its results-based developmental strategies and policies. The thrust is on decentralization, bottom-up programming, participation, partnerships, linkages, collaborations and networkings.
The Organization also encourages creations, innovations and experimentations by the grass-roots level agencies and individuals by providing small resource support.
