SANKALP has been working for the recognition of equal rights for women, along with men. The Organisation’s programmes on elimination of gender discrimination are based on the basis of the following principles; i) equality of rights between women and men must be enshrined as a fundamental principle; ii) women must be regarded as agents and beneficiaries of change; and iii) equal opportunities to make a choice should exist for both women and men.
