SANKALP has been participating in the international, national, regional and local efforts to promote and protect the enjoyment and realization of human rights, established in the Charter of the United Nations and reaffirmed in the international and national human rights instruments. The Organisation has been conducting human rights education, trainings, and public information campaigns for fostering mutual understanding, tolerance, peace, fundamental freedoms and democracy. The furtherance of human rights education at the school level and in non-formal learning has been the strategic goal of the Organisation.
